'Ana Coffey was newly elected to the Council in October 2010.  As a parent of four young children, 'Ana was keen to see young families represented around the Council table.  She brings with her a common sense approach to decision making.  'Ana would like to see a city where her children will eventually be able to enjoy swimming in a clean harbour and take pride in their Porirua roots.  She believes the current city centre needs to reflect the true vibrancy of  Porirua.  'Ana sees her role on Council as one way to contribute back to the community she loves.
