What does the Community Profile offer?

Porirua Census data is now available through the online Porirua Community Profile

This demographic information product is an externally managed public resource from .id - a company of population experts. All of the councils in the Wellington region now use this tool.

The Porirua Community Profile provides easy access to Porirua’s Census population data. There is a wide range of information available including:

  • birthplace

  • family types
  • household types
  • travel
  • telecommunications use
  • regional and national data comparisons from different Census periods

The Profile is easy to use, with drop down menus and graphs, tables and export functions, which can be cut and pasted without losing format or resolution.

The site will continue to be updated as more information is provided by Statistics NZ.
