The turf is available for hire from 7am-10pm seven days a week and can be hired as a full field, half field or as a sixth of a field.   A sixth of a field is 25m x 75m and is sufficient for a junior team to practice on which is a very affordable option.

Unlike the other parks Porirua City Council operates, the Bernie Wood Synthetic Turf is charged on an hourly basis with the most popular times more expensive than less popular times.

Winter use charges range from $5 to $80 per hour while summer use is between $5 and $60 per hour, depending on the time of the booking and the area booked for playing on.

This turf is different compared to some of the other turfs in the Wellington region in that it has 200 Lux lighting for early morning or night time use, access to the pavilion, and public toilets for spectators to use.

For enquiries and bookings, phone Porirua City Council on (04) 237 5089 or email and provide contact and booking details.  Your booking will be confirmed as soon as practicable.
