This page describes the public playgrounds in Porirua City and their location.

Porirua has playgrounds for all ages

Time for the children to burn off some energy on the swings, seesaws and slides? No problem.

You will find that Porirua City caters amply to their needs, with 41 playgrounds dotted around the city.  Play equipment that is used most includes ladders, swings, platform and pole combinations, slides and track rides.

Most of the play equipment is primarily targetted at the five to twelve year old range with some for toddlers.

Playground Upgrades

Some playgrounds are scheduled for an upgrade. We welcome your input into their design. See our Playground Upgrades page for more information.
