Heritage Review Project

Below are a few of the sites identified during Porirua City Council's Heritage Review Project. These sites were chosen to be show-cased on the website as they are interesting historically, NOT because they owned, protected or managed by Porirua City Council. As a result of the Heritage Review Project, Council has developed a Heritage Management Strategy which sets out a framework that identifies the key issues for heritage management, and sets objectives and policies directing how these issues will be addressed.
